2017 Season


Swim Side:  Our season is off to a great start with over 65 registered swimmers!!! We have been training 4 days a week at the pool for an hour each time!!!  Looking forward to our first competition in Springdale!!!


Fundraising Side: 

We kicked off the year with a very profitable Recycling Blitz, thanks to all who participated we were able to raise $1000!!! Way to go!! Stay tuned for the 2nd blitz on August 1, 2017

On July 20th we have a Swimmer Photo Fundraiser compliments of https://www.facebook.com/Dawn-Oldford-Photography-220101771987/" target="_blank">Dawn Oldford Photography.  Swimmers are able to get professional pictures completed and %100 of profits will go directly back to the team!!!! 

On August 2 we will have a Sub Sale.  More details to follow!

Later in August we will have our annual Swim-A-Thon!!! Stay tuned for exciting details about all the activities that will be included in this wonderful event!!!

2016 Season


We are proud that at the 2016 Provincial Swim Competition, our team had a Female Swimmer, Age 17-18, sweep her division winning multiple medals!!!! She also won top female swimmer at the Provincial Meet in Gander, NL!!!

GFW Gators Summer Swim Club

Position: Head Coach

Summer 2019

 

The Grand Falls-Windsor Gators Summer Swim Club is hiring a Head Coach for its summer

season 2019. The position will start on May21st and run until August 30st, 2019. The hours of

employment will be minimal at the start of the season with increased hours beginning June 28th.

The Head Coach will be responsible for sport development which will include developing

practice plans, day to day coaching activities, communication and coordination of practices, and

planning and assignment of swimmers for competition. Applicants should have knowledge and

experience in swim competition and rules of SwimNL/Swim Canada and be at least 18 years of

age. Preference will be given to applicants with the SWIM 101 course.
